Youth detained by police in fake note case

Bhubaneswar: One youth was detained by the Commissionerate Police today as part of its probe into the fake note case.

The police have detained the youth, identified as Ratnakar Singh and a resident of Betanata village under Badasahi police limits, on basis of a tip-off received by the Mayurbhanj police, said sources.

Earlier, on March 16, the Baripada police with the help of the Commissionerate Police had raided a house in Salia Sahi slum in Bhubaneswar and arrested Sagen Tudu. A fake currency printing unit was also seized from the house raided by the cops.
