Bhubaneswar: The annual event of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar - Xpressions 2017 will commence from Friday at the XIMB campus in Bhubaneswar. This is the 21st edition of this annual carnival of the institution which began way back in 1997.
“Like every year, our students are getting ready for Xpressions. Various events and activities are organised every year. Business events, cultural events and cuisines are mostly in focus. Farhan Akhtar is the major attraction of the cultural event on the last day and students are very enthusiastic about it,” said Father Arockia, Assistant Registrar, XIMB.
Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar will be seen in his singer avatar during the musical nite on the final day. Other events include EDM Night and Carnival De Vogue fashion show on the first and MTV Beats Decibelz War of Bands on the second evening.
“We are really excited to organise our annual event. Not only XIMB students but students from other institutions take part in lot of events during these three days. We are looking forward to exciting days,” said student of the institution Ipsit.
This event is expected to draw a lot of youngsters from the state. Students from various colleges from Odisha and other neighbouring states are also participating in this annual event of the XIMB.
