Woman thrashes man for obscene gesture

Puri: A youth was beaten black and blue by a woman in full public view allegedly for making obscene gesture at her in Brahmagiri of the district. The incident came to the fore when a video footage of the incident went viral on social media.

According to sources, the youth, a local, allegedly made obscene gesture towards the girl from Satapada area. Later, when the girl opposed, a heated argument ensued between the two. The situation went out of control, when the girl thrashed the youth in public.

While the incident occurred on September 29 the video from a CCTV footage of the incident has now gone viral on social media.
