Woman axes violent hubby to death

Gunupur: In a fit of rage, a woman allegedly axed her husband to death today over a family discord at Gunupur in Rayagada district.

As per sources, the couple had an a+ltercation in the evening, which took an ugly turn when the man beat his wife black and blue. In retaliation, the wife also attacked him with an axe.

Locals said quarrel between them was a regular affair. But, today she lost patience and ultimately murdered her husband, they said.

On getting information from the villagers, police reached the spot and recovered the body.
