Bolangir: With mystery still shrouding over the 'motive' behind the Patnagarh wedding gift blast case in which two persons including newly wed groom Soumyasekhar Sahu was killed in February, the Crime Branch team on Sunday intensified the ongoing probe and picked four persons including a college lecturer for interrogation.
The college lecturer, Punjilal Meher is the colleague of deceased Soumyasekhar's mother Sanjukta Sahu.
Sources said Punjilal is being interrogated as he held the post of Principal at Bhainsa college despite being junior to Sanjukta Sahu.
Deceased Soumyasekhar's mother Sanjukta has now been appointed as the Principal of the college and it is suspected that there was some dispute and discontent among other faculty over such issues in the college.
A laptop, diary and some documents have been seized from Punjilal's residence and further investigation in this connection is on.
