Phulbani: Panic has gripped Tumudibandha block of Kandhamal district after more than 18 villagers complained of diarrhoea and vomiting and were admitted to the local hospital.
The sick persons are from Ghumura village and include women and children.
Meanwhile, reason behind the spread of diarrhoea and vomiting in the area is yet to be ascertained.
Sources said the Kandhamal district administration would soon send a team of doctors to the village to take stock of the situation and for treatment of the unwell.
