Boudh: Panic spread in Guchhaguda village of Boudh district late last night when some youths of Mansaguda fired two rounds at a person injuring him critically during Pusa Puni Yatra.
The victim, identified as Ekadusia Mahakuda, had sustained severe injuries in head and hand due to the firing followed by an alleged slashing with a sharp weapon.
Mahakuda was rushed to the Sonepur headquarters hospital for treatment. But later he was shifted to the Burla hospital as the condition remained critical.

The accused, who attacked Mahakuda in presence of police personnel, are still at large.
