Rourkela: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids at three places including the houses of Revenue department assistant collector Golaka Bihari Mangaraj on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to sources, the anti corruption wing of the Odisha Police is conducting raids at the residence of Mangaraj located at Basanti Nagar in the city.
Besides, raids are also on at Mangaraj’s anecestral home at Banapur in Khurda and his in-laws' house at Mayurajhalia in Nayagarh, the sources added.
During the raid, the investigating agency has laid its hands on some incriminating documents and bank passbooks in the name of Mangaraj.
Mangaraj is currently working at the Revenue department at state secretariat in Bhubaneswar.
