Three Sisters Charred To Death; Suicide Suspected

Malkangiri: In a heart wrenching incident, charred remains of three sisters were recovered from their burning house in Malkangiri district today.

Locals informed the police after they spotted flames coming out of the house. Fire tenders that rushed to the spot to douse the flames informed that door of the house was locked from inside triggering suspicion of suicide.

Locals in the area suspected that the three girls -all in their thirties and unmarried, were depressed over some family issue. Moreover, the incident took place when all the three brothers of the deceased girls were away from home.

Sources said father of the siblings died a few days ago.

The fire officials were still dousing the fires when the last reports came in. The bodies have been sent for autopsy and a case of unnatural death has been registered
