Three including father, sons die due to suffocation

Paralakhemundi: A 55-year-old man and his two sons died due to suffocation while cleaning a well at Badakalakota village under Gumma block in Gajapati district. Besides, three persons were taken ill and admitted to hospital.

The deceased were identified as Fainat Gamanga and his sons Preisingh Gamang (22) and Ataniya Gamang (18).

According to sources, Fainat and his two sons went into the well to clean it in the morning. However, all of them died due to suffocation inside the well. When three villagers went into the well to rescue them, they also fell sick and have been admitted to the Gumma community health centre (CHC).
