Balasore: Tension still prevails at Gabagaon and Patrapada in Balasore district after a group clash over murder of a person here on Friday.
While prohibitionary orders under section 144 of CrPC is still in force at some areas, 12 platoon of police force has been deployed in the locality to check further confrontation between the two villages.
As per police sources the situation is currently under control. Eleven persons have also been detained by the police on Saturday evening on charges of pelting stones.
Further, two special police teams are conducting raids outside the district to nab the murder accused.
It may be mentioned that after a deadly attack on two persons of Gabagaon on Friday, one among them had lost his life. Following it the situation in Gabagaon, Patrapada and Sunhat had turned troublesome.
