Tension at Koraput hospital over patient's death

Koraput: Tension prevailed at the Koraput hospital when family members of a patient, who died in the hospital allegedly for doctors' negligence, along with locals ransacked the hospital here on Thursday.

Sources said one Sabitri of Kolab area was undergoing treatment in the ICU of the hospital and died on Thursday evening.

The family members of the deceased held the doctors responsible for her death and protested by ransacking the hospital. Later police reached the spot and took control of the situation.
