Bhubaneswar: Death toll due to swine flu reached eleven when a woman and a man succumbed to the disease at two different private hospitals here on Wednesday.
Similarly, out of 47 swab samples, 16 tested positive for H1N1 virus taking the total number of swine flu positive patients across the State to 161.
The government has mentioned that the three medical colleges, Capital Hospital and all District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) are fully prepared for treatment of the affected persons.
Health Minister Pratap Jena has said adequate amount of medicines are available for treatment of the disease.
