Sundargarh Headmaster in Vigilance net

Rourkela: Vigilance officials today raided the houses of the Headmaster, Pramod Samal, of a primary school at Koira block in Sundargarh district on the allegation of amassing disproportionate assets.

Samal, whose wife is also a school teacher, is the Headmaster of the Kudamusa Primary School at Koira. On the basis of a search warrant, the Vigilance sleuths conducted raid at four places simultaneously, said Keonjhar Vigilance DSP Harekrushna Majhi. His Government quarter and a new two-storey building at Rourkela, ancestral home and father-in-law’s house at Binjharpur in Jajpur district were raided, he added.

While Samal claims to have taken voluntary retirement on September 30, it is yet to be officially confirmed.
