Cuttack: Commissionerate police on Monday busted a major prostitution racket that was operating from a hotel at College square in Cuttack.
Two persons have been arrested while two women were rescued during a raid conducted on the hotel by a special team of Malgodown police.
The accused have been identified as Rakesh Sahoo and Subhas Pradhan.
The kingpin of the sex racket and the manager of the hotel, Raju Sahoo is absconding and a manhunt has been launched to nab him. Police said, a special drive would be launched to ensure that hotels and other public places are not misutilised.
