Mumbai/Bhubaneswar: Accepting the challenge of one of the judges on the show, little wonder from Odisha Satyajeet Jena sang one of the difficult ghazals to emerge best performer in the Sunday episode of SaReGaMaPa Li’l champs on Zee TV. He secured 100 percent marks in Ahmad and Mohammad Hussain's ghazals 'main hawa hoon kahan watan mera.'
All the judges gave him 10 out of 10 and the three master musicians Javed Ali, Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya appreciated Satyajeet's rendition as his best performance till date. Besides he also got standing ovation from all.
“Fortunately, the ghazal, which was assigned to Satyajeet, is his favourite one. He did not feel any difficulty while performing as he had wide experience of stage show. After the performance, jury Himesh Reshammiya congratulated Satyajeet on performance as so far the best”, said Guman Charan Jena, father of Satyajeet.
Satyajeet’s next attraction for Saturday and Sunday shows are ‘yeh mausam ki barish’ of movie Half Girlfriend and Kishore Kumar’s ‘pal pal dil ke paas’ respectively, Jena informed.
Satyajeet has been scoring highest audience votes for consecutive weeks retaining his position as number one in the show. However the judges had been asking the singer to improve his performance over the weeks. Last week HR had asked him to present his best performance this week. And Satyajeet lived up to the expectations!
