Sarankul bandh demanding better healthcare facilities

Nayagarh: Locals, under the banner of Anchalik Swasthya Sewa Samiti, have called for a bandh in Sarankul of Nayagarh district demanding better healthcare facilities in the area.

According to sources, the Samiti is staging dharna since long in front of the Community Health Centre (CHC), Sarankul over their 4-point-charter of demands.

They alleged that there are only two doctors appointed in the CHC in place of five, out of which one never shows up and the other does not work.

The agitation will continue till government and administration provides doctors and better healthcare facilities, warned the Samiti.
