Puri: The permanent repair work of Jagamohan, the hall facing the sanctum sanctorum of Sri Jagannath Temple, will be completed before the starting of Odia holy month of Kartik, said chief administrator of Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Suresh Mohapatra.
According to sources, a decision in this regard was taken after a meeting of SJTA chaired by Puri king Divyasingha Deb yesterday.
The meeting also reviewed the Rath Yatra in July and examined all CCTV footage starting from Snan Yatra to Niladribije, the sources added.
Servitors did not participate in the meeting, which also aimed to chalk out plans to ensure that the rituals of the deities are performed in a systematic and timely manner.
