Rayagada: Unknown disease kills two children

Rayagada: Two children have died of a mysterious disease in Mushudi village of Kalyansinghpur block in Rayagada district. A team of doctors has reached the village and is treating other children affected by the mystery disease.

Sources said that the deaths could have been caused by malnutrition.

On the other hand, 23 persons in the village have been diagnosed with malaria after blood samples of 45 persons were examined.

Notably, Mushudi village, situated on a hillock, has no access to primary healthcare services.
