Rain to lash Odisha from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The interior and Western parts of the State are likely to witness rain and hail storm from tonight under the impact of a trough line and high pressure, said regional meteorological department on Sunday.

"The rain and hail storm is likely to occur in interior and western pockets of the States including Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sonepur,Boudh, Samabalpur, Sundergarh from Sunday night. It will continue till Monday," said Regional Meteorological Centre Director, Sarat Sahu.

Several parts in coastal areas may also experience light rain on February 13, he added.

However, the downpour will reduce from February 14 while there will be rise of temperature from January 15, the Met department forecasted
