Bhubaneswar: Revellers planning for grand celebrations may consider this important as the Regional Meteorological Department, Bhubaneswar has predicted mild rain on December 30 & 31.
According to the met office, a low pressure area has formed in South Andaman and its nearby areas. Moreover, a trough line is passing through the Odisha coast which would result in mild rain especially in interior and coastal parts of the State, informed Met Office sources.

However, the Met Office clarified that the amount of rain would be meagre and there is no need for farmers to worry.
Meanwhile, moderate cold condition is likely to prevail over the state from tomorrow onwards and there is a likelihood of the weather remaining foggy.
