Bhubaneswar: The Kandhamal conjoined twins travelling to New Delhi AIIMS by Rajdhani Express have received prayers and wishes from across the State for a successful operation. Meanwhile, the Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has arranged for special medical help for the twins on train and after reaching AIIMS.
After watching the plight of the two children Honey and Singh on OTV, the state government has arranged for their separation surgery at AIIMS. Today when the twins left for Delhi from Bhubaneswar, people gathered at the station to wish them for the operation. Many prayed for the twins while many also offered help and support.
The duo is accompanied by an assistant manager of the National Adolescent Health Programme while Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu informed through a tweet that two doctors have already attended the twins at Tatanagar Railway Station, facilitated by railway officials.
On the request of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Prabhu has also arranged an appointment for the twins with Dr AK Mahapatra, Director SGPGIMS, Department of Neurosurgery.
