PTS athletics grand prix: Jauna Murmu bags gold in 4X400 women relay

Bhubaneswar: The Indian women 4 x 400m relay quartet comprising Jauna Murmu of Odisha, Ashwini Akkunji, Anilda Thomas and MR Poovamma won gold medal in PTS (Pravda-Televizia-Slovnaft) Athletics Grand Prix in Slovakia today.

The Indian eves reached the finishing line clocking 3:31.39 minutes.

With this, the Indian women’s team has provisionally qualified for the Rio Olympic Games to be held in August this year.
