Bhubaneswar: The statement of Ollywood producer Rajesh Pati, who has been charged with casting couch by actress Upasana Mohanty, has been recorded by Laxmisagar Police station in Bhubaneswar under section 161 of CrPC.
Meanwhile, actress Upasana has submitted personal videos involving her and Pati, details of their chatting on social platforms and the information on the monetary transactions between the two to the investigating authorities.
A couple of days back, the police registered a case against Pati under Sec 506 of IPC on charges of attempt to murder and Sec 509 of IPC for making an indecent proposal.
Notably, Pati had alleged whenever he spoke to Upasana to get his money back, the actress threatened to implicate him in a false case of casting couch.
Upasana then hit back by actually filing a case against him for attempting casting couch on her.
