President to host 4 Odia freedom fighters ‘At Home’ on August 9

Bhubaneswar: Four freedom fighters from the State have received invitation from the Rashtrapati Bhavan to attend the ‘At Home’ function to be hosted by President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi on August 9.

The invited freedom fighters are Bhawani Charan Patnaik from Nimpara, Dolagovinda Pradhan from Biribati in Cuttack district, Rabindra Nath Ray from Jagatsinghpur district and Nilamani Samal of Jajpur district.

Meanwhile, Chief minister Naveen Patnaik also felicitated the freedom fighters at a special programme organised in the Secretariat here yesterday.
