Bhubaneswar: Tension prevailed at Rajdhani college after an aspirant candidate in the upcoming students’ union election was injured in a pre-poll violence here on Saturday.
According to reports, Biswajit Swain, a +3 second year student was allegedly attacked by a group of non-students.
In his complaint lodged at Khandagiri police station, Swain has claimed that few non-students attacked him with sharp weapons and threatened him of dire consequences for contesting the upcoming elections.
Protesting the assault, the students have staged a demonstration demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the attack.
