Sambalpur: Two accused in the attack on a doctor on duty at Kuchinda sub divisional hospital in Sambalpur were nabbed from Rourkela on Thursday.
Earlier on January 21, one of the accused had entered the chamber of doctor Subodh Nayak in the hospital and had attacked him with a steel stool. The entire incident has been captured by a CCTV camera in the hospital.
Nayak had sustained injuries on his head and was admitted to the Burla hospital.
Following the incident, staff of the hospital had met Sambalpur Sub Collector Biswaranjan Nayak demanding strict action against the culprit and steps to ensure their safety.
"Accused Rinku Soni alias Musa along with his associate were absconding after the incident. They were arrested on Thursday night from Rourkela," said Kuchinda SDPO Nrupacharan Dandasena.
