Bhubaneswar: The State BJP which had left out Bijay Mohapatra and Dillip Ray from the list of 40 star campaigners today for the ensuing three-tier Panchayat polls scheduled to begin from February 13, later came out with a revised list including the names of these two senior party leaders.
The party in a release had said it has submitted a list of 47 star campaigners to the State Election Commission earlier in the day. But it later revised the list and included the name of these two aforesaid leaders.
Apart from Bijay Mohapatra and Dillip Ray, the leaders who have been appointed as star campaigners are Basant Panda, KV Singhdeo, Jual Oram, Dharmendra Pradhan, Pradeep Purohit, Rabi Nayak, Radharani Panda, Blswa Bhusan Harichandan, Manmohal Samal, Suresh Pujari, Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Surama Padhl, Samir Dey, Hlmanshu Meher, Nayan Kishore Mohanty, Bishnu Sethy, Samlr Mohantv, Sukeshi Oram, Aswin Kumar Sarangi, Ranjan Kumar Patel, Sarada Prasad Satapathy, Prilhivraj Harichandan, Bhrigu Buxipatra, Ananta Naik, Kalandi Samal, Dilllp Mallick, Sovana Mohanty, Lekhasri Samanta Singhar, Dhiren Senapati, Simantini Jena, Sajjan Sharma, Golak Prasad Mohapatra, Krushna Chandra Patra, TankadharTripathy, Pravati Parida, Shivaji Mohanty, Mohan Majhi, Rudra Narayan Pani, Parshuram Majhi, Baidhara Mallick, Maheswar Sahoo, Jadumani Panigrahi, Baldeb Vedbak, Sukanta Panigrahi, Bishnu Das, Sritam Das and Pinki Pradhan.
