Bhubaneswar: To corner the ruling party in the Assembly, Congress and BJP are chalking out plans ahead of the monsoon session that begins tomorrow.
BJP will raise the issue of the State government flouting Supreme Court’s imposition of penalty on miners involved in illegal mining scam in the House, said the saffron party’s State chief Basant Panda.
Besides, party legislators will rake up issues of drinking water scarcity and the BJD’s failure to tackle drought situation in the Assembly, Panda added.
The BJP legislature party meeting will be held tomorrow prior to the monsoon session.
Similarly, Congress has also planned to catch the ruling party off-guard.
Meanwhile, BJD legislature party meeting is scheduled to be held today to counter the Opposition in the House.
The monsoon session will continue till September 16. The eight-day session has six official and two private members day.
