One injured in bomb attack in Cuttack

Cuttack:  One person was injured when crude bombs were hurled by unidentified miscreants on a house at Kesharpur in Cuttack on Friday night.

The injured Mohammad Sajjan has sustained multiple injuries in the bomb attack and is now undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital. The incident occurred at around 11:30 pm yesterday.

According to reports, four unidentified miscreants had targeted Sajjan over suspected past enmity and  land related dispute. Two crude bombs were lobbed at the house of Sajjan by the miscreants, sources said.

Meanwhile, palpable tension still prevails at Kesharpur as locals torched a motorcycle believed to have been deserted by the miscreants after the bombings.

Two live bombs have also been recovered from the spot while police have started investigation into the incident.
