Boudh: One person was killed and 20 injured when a bus collided with a speedy truck on the NH-224 at Harekrushnapur Chhak in Boudh district late on Monday night.
While the injured persons were admitted to the Puruna Katak hospital, five seriously-injured were later transferred to the VSS Medical College and Hospital in Burla. All the injured belong to Bolangir and Bhawanipatna. The deceased is said to be the driver of the truck.
The incident took place when the bus going towards Bhubaneswar from Bhawanipatna was hit by the truck from opposite direction. Puruna Katak police rushed to the spot and started investigation into the incident.
