Official death toll in SUM Hospital mishap pegged at 30

Bhubaneswar: The confusion prevailing over the death toll in the SUM Hospital fire mishap ended after government finally pegged thr figure at 30.

Though almost a month has passed since the mishap happened, the State government was in a fix to assess the number of deaths due to the accident.

As per the information obtained by the government, total 30 persons died in the incident.

While 19 persons were shifted in dead condition to other hospital, 11 others succumbed to the injuries after being brought to other hospitals.
