Office of Minister Badri Patra's son set on fire

Keonjhar: Tension prevailed in Anandapur after the office of Minister Badri Narayan Patra's son Debapriya Patra at Salapada Chhak was set on fire today.

Debapriya is the president of a cooperative bank and his office was allegedly torched by Sana Sena, an activists group with allegiance to Champua's independent MLA Sanatan Mahakud.

The incident is believed to be fallout of the ongoing dispute between Debapriya and Sana Sena activists

According to reports, the Sana Sena activists allegedly barged into Debapriya's office, ransacked property and looted cash.

"I was about to leave for home when some supporters of Sana Sena attacked my office, lobbed petrol bombs and looted cash at around 2 pm today," said Debapriya.

Following the incident, police reached the spot and have started investigation.
