Bhubaneswar: A candle light march was organised here on Tuesday evening at Lower PMG by the Odisha Branch of Indian Ex-Services League & Veterans India to pay homage to the two Indian soldiers whose bodies were mutilated by Pakistani forces along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
During the rally, the ex-servicemen chanted anti-Pakistan slogans and demanded that the Government of India and the Indian Army should take stern actions against the neighbouring country.
They also wanted the Government of India to declare Pakistan as a terrorism-sponsoring nation. Meanwhile, they pledged their support to the Indian Army and other security forces in teaching a lesson to Pakistan.
In an unsoldierly act, Pakistani soldiers accompanied by their Border Action Team launched an attack on the Indian patrol party killing BSF head constable Prem Sagar of the 200 Battalion and the Indian Army’s Naib Subedar Paramjeet Singh of 22 Sikh Regiment. Another BSF jawan was also injured in the Pak attack.
