Bhubaneswar: In the wake of the death of 19 children at a hilltop village in Jajpur district allegedly due to malnutrition, the Odisha government today decided to provide road connectivity to remote habitations inside forest areas from Campa funds.

The decision in this regard was taken at the meeting of the State level Steering Committee of State CAMPA (Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority) held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary A P Padhi. The SLSC approved projects for utilization of the interest incurred from CAMPA fund.
