Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government's Housing and Urban Development department, on Thursday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Energy Efficiency Service Limited (EESL) for implementation of Street Light National Programme in all the state’s urban local bodies (ULBs).

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the energy efficient lighting initiative, UNNATI, in 107 ULBs in the state. During the launch here, he said the state government has decided to provide 100 per cent piped water supply in all wards and LED street lighting to all streets in all urban areas of the state.
