Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy involving as many as 17 IAS officers.
Shalini Pandit, a 2001-batch IAS officer, who is serving as the Mission Director, National Health Mission, has been appointed Special Project Director, OPEPA with additional charge of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan /Adarsh Vidyalaya.
IAS officer Archana Patnaik will serve as the new Mission Director, National Health Mission with additional charge as Managing Director of Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd.
The present Managing Director of Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd, Ravindra Pratap Singh has been posted as Director, Agriculture Marketing and Member Secretary, Odisha Agricultural Marketing Board.
Dr Mrinalini Darswal, a 2002-batch IAS officer has been transferred as Additional Resident Commissioner, Government of Odisha, New Delhi.
Additional Secretary of Agriculture & FE department, Purusottam Sahoo, has been given charge as Additional Secretary of Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts department.
IAS officer Hari Ballav Mishra, presently serving as Director, Agriculture and Food Production has been posted as the Additional Secretary of Health & Family Welfare department with additional charge of Commissioner, Food Safety.
The present Additional Secretary of Health & Family Welfare department, Bijay Nayak, will be the new Director, Culture, Odisha.
Similarly, Dr M Muthukumar, Director, Horticulture has been given additional charge of Director, Agriculture and Food Production.
IAS officer Tribikram Pradhan, presently serving as the Additional Resident Commissioner to Government of Odisha, New Delhi will join duty as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Odisha.
IAS officer, Premananda Khuntia, presently serving as Director, Agriculture Marketing & Member secretary, Odisha Agricultural Marketing Board will be the Additional Secretary of Commerce & Transport department.
IAS officer Md Rashid Khan, who is serving as Additional Secretary of Science & Tech department is given charge as Joint Secretary of Science and Technology department.
Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra has been appointed (on appointment to IAS) Joint Secretary to Chief Minister of Odisha.
IAS officer Sangramjit Nayak, Director, Municipal Administration, Housing & Urban Development department has been posted as Director, Municipal Administration with additional charge of Mission Director, Swachha Bharat Mission (Urban).

Besides, Additional Secretary of Steel and Mines department, Biswanath Acharya will assume charge as Joint Secretary of Steel and Mines department.
