Odisha CM felicitates freedom fighters

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, on Saturday, felicitated four freedom fighters who have been nominated from Odisha to attend the 'At Home' function at Rastapati Bhavan in New Delhi on August 9.

Patnaik offered flowers and citations to Sahadev Behera (94), Chakradhar Parida (88), Dadhichi Sahoo (91) and Gandharba Acharya (96).

While Behera and Parida are from Nayagarh district, Sahoo and Acharya are from Jajpur and Cuttack districts respectively.

The four fighters will board flight to Delhi tomorrow.

Two government officials will accompany the veteran fighters during their journey to the national capital.
