Not aware of mobile ban in Lingaraj temple: Raveena Tandon

Bhubaneswar: Amid the controversy that sparked in Lingaraj temple following a video shoot on the shrine premises, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon today said that she was not aware of mobile ban inside the temple.

The actress landed in controversy after a video clip of her, shot inside the premises in the 'No Camera Zone' of the holy shrine went viral on social media.

While replying to a twiterrati, Raveena said everyone including security guards and servitors in the temple were taking selfies, recording videos and she was not aware of phone ban.

Besides, the actress said she was filmed while replying to a person who asked her about some beauty tips.

Meanwhile, the Lingaraj temple administration has lodged a written complaint against the actress for shooting an advertisement for promoting some cosmetics item and urged Commissionerate Police to take appropriate action after a detailed probe.
