Bhubaneswar: The state's coastal parts and nearby places are likely to experience Norwester (locally known as Kalabaisakhi) rain along with thunder in next 24 hours, said the Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar today.
Wind speed is likely to be 50-60 km/hr during the Norwester rains in the coastal Odisha and nearby places, the meteorological Centre forecast.
Meanwhile, Jharsuguda recorded 39.8 degree Celsius till 12 pm whereas Sambalpur was at 36.4 degree Celsius.
