Jajpur: No-trust motion has again been brought against Vyasanagar Municipality chairperson, Sabita Rout, yesterday for the second time this year.
Under the leadership of Vice-Chairman, Subash Bala, 19 councillors submitted a memorandum near the District Collector regarding the motion.
After proper investigation steps will be taken according to law, informed the District Collector.
Earlier also a No-trust motion was brought against Rout. However, it was dismissed as no councillor turned up to participate in the voting on the fixed date.
Meanwhile, Rout has alleged that some councillors for the sake of their personal interests are creating problems in the developmental works of the area.
