Naveen to review Rath Yatra preparations today

Puri: With Rath Yatra is round the corner, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to attend a special review meeting of the coordination committee to be held at Puri today.

According to sources, the meeting, which is aimed at providing better health, sanitation, security and communication facilities during the grand festival, will be held at Gopabandhu Ayurvedic college in the pilgrim town.

Among others, ministers and secretaries of concerned department, servitors of Jagannath temple and officials of various departments will also attend the meeting.

Notably, preparations have reached the final stages for the Rath Yatra of the Lord Jagannath and his siblings scheduled to be.ebrated on July 6.
