Nandankanan gets 5 Caiman crocodiles

Bhubaneswar: There is good news for animal lovers. The Nandankanan Zoological Park here received five dwarf caiman crocodiles from Madras Crocodile Bank Trust on Tuesday.

According to sources, the zoological park got the five reptiles - two male and three female - in exchange for four water monitor lizards - one male and three female. They reached Nandankanan at around 11.15 pm last night.

The caiman crocodiles have been kept in the 46 D enclosure of the zoological park, sources added.
