Nabarangpur ASP dies in road accident

Berhampur: In a tragic incident, Nabarangpur ASP Ashok Kumar was killed in a road accident at Icchapur near Berhampur late on Wednesday night.

While the cop died on the spot the driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital at Berhampur.

Sources said ASP Nayak was travelling to Berhampur for an official meeting in a Bolero vehicle. The incident took place when the vehicle dashed against a stationary trailer on the road from the behind.
