Baripada: Campus poll at MPC junior college was cancelled for this year and closed sine die following student unrest on Saturday.
The college’s authority took the decision as two student groups fought a pitched battle on the premises of the educational institution.
According to sources, bombs were also hurled inside the campus of the college.
Police forces have been deployed on the college premises to main law and order, sources added.

Similarly, Maharishi college in Bhubaneswar was also declared sine die after pre-poll violence also witnessed in college premises today.
The student unrest started after the college authority cancelled some nominations.
