Kendrapara: Kendrapara MP Baijayant 'Jay' Panda inaugurated a state-of-the-art ‘Multipurpose Auditorium-cum-Sanskruti Bhavan,' in Gualsingh under Derabish block of the district today.
The project which has been built at a cost of Rs 396 Lakh out of which Rs 376 lakh has been allocated from Jay Panda's local area development fund (LAD) is the biggest such project in Odisha.
The inauguration of the project was scheduled on January 24 but later rescheduled by the parliamentarian following the suicide of Kunduli girl.

Today's inauguration was done in presence of a huge gathering of general public and intellectuals.
"This project is the biggest MPLAD fund project. The auditorium was a necessity which the citizens of Kendrapara had informed me about. Those who were alleging that they were not invited, should come and see that all their names have been mentioned in the plaque," said Jay Panda.
