Bhubaneswar: Union Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha today inaugurated three railway projects including the newly commissioned electrified section between Sambalpur and Jharsuguda.
A Special Passenger Train No 05311 (Sambalpur-Jharsuguda) was flagged off by the union minister through video conferencing from Rail Sadan here today. From August 24, Passenger Trains No 58135/58136 and No 58137/58138 between Sambalpur-Jharsuguda-Sambalpur will run by electric loco on regular basis.

Sinha laid foundation stone for a railway road overbridge in lieu of Khetrarajpur level crossing No JT-25 between Sambalpur and Hirakud and Wi-Fi facility at Khurda Road junction.
Besides, Sinha will attend a review meeting between Railway department and BSNL and later today, he is also scheduled to attend BJP's Sankalp Se Siddhi programme at Nayagarh.
