More than 50 start-ups take part at MSME expo beginning today

Bhubaneswar: More than 50 start-ups in different sectors are participating in the Odisha MSME Trade fair starting today at the IDCO exhibition ground here.

Talking to newsmen, MSME dept secretary LN Gupta said, “The prime focus of the MSME Trade Fair is to promote start ups. Five seminars including one on start-ups will be organised during the trade fair.”

Besides, more than 300 entrepreneurs including women businessmen in Food Processing and Packaging, Engineering, Plastic and Chemical industries and banking sectors are participating in the MSME trade fair organised by the State’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises department.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate the trade fair, which will be held till March 10. Common visitors are allowed to visit the expo from 2 pm to 9 pm.
