Monsoon to reach Odisha in next 48 hrs

Bhubaneswar: Monsoon rains are likely to reach Odisha within 48 hours following a fall in day temperature at several places, forecast the regional meteorological office here today.

The met office further predicted a cyclonic storm formed over northern parts of Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha will develop into a low pressure causing rains in the State. This year the monsoon will reach the State induced by a low pressure.

However, humid conditions will persist across the State till the monsoon rains arrive.
