Missing boy's body recovered from well in Nayagarh

Nayagarh: Tension prevailed after body of a 4-year-old boy was recovered from a well at Gayatri colony in Nayagarh district on Saturday. The deceased identified as Ashutosh Swain was missing from Wednesday.

Though a massive search operation was launched by police after the family had lodged a missing complaint with Town police, the boy could not be traced.

The family members alleged that Ashutosh has been murdered as his body was recovered from the same spot which the police teams had searched yesterday.

A group of local residents spotted Ashutosh's body inside an abandoned well and informed his parents and police today.

According to reports, Ashutosh, who had lost his mother, was staying with his grandparents as his father was also staying outside Nayagarh for work.
